As I was organizing some files I came across this short story printed in a Gay Pride program from 1986. We have came a long way since 1986 in the treatment and prevention of HIV and AID's but it is still out there and running rampant. All of us know someone who is infected with HIV and most of us know someone who has died from it. In our society there is always drama, backstabbing and gossip, but none of us deserve the hatred and ridicule from within our own society. So, before you laugh at someone or turn away from someone who has hurt you, remember that neither time nor hurtful words can ever be gotten back. And how will you feel if they are the last words that person ever heard from you. Before you lose that friend or burn the bridges of your friendship, rather than rant and rave, argue and fight, give that person a hug and tell them that mistakes happen, but you will always be there for them.

Starting Monday, January 27th, we will be open on Mondays. So come visit Phil or Mike to start off your week.

EMPLOYEE DRAG SHOW
March or April is going to be a hoot when we present for everyone's entertainment the first employee drag show. Every employee of the bar will be appearing in drag and doing a number for your laughter and pleasure. No cameras, phones or recording devices will be allowed in the bar that night cause none of us want any reminders of this escapade available after the show. LOL
